The Million Dollar Quartet company were asked to perform live on BBC One’s The One Show, on 7th December 2016.
The cast opened the show with the same song that opens the theatre production, Blue Suede Shoes, and closed the show with a medley of songs which is performed in Act 2.
The shows sound team facilitated the performance; providing various elements of the shows kit supplemented with equipment hired for the TV show.
Joe Green and Nick Newman were in the BBC studio to make sure everything was sounding great, as per the show. Joe mixed the Million Dollar Quartet segment for live broadcast in the gallery whilst Nick mixed monitors in the studio.
